Any project of this nature, needs to be tackled with an adequate amount of Primary Research. Our second week consisted of exactly that.
As a team, we got in touch with nurses, doctors, health practitioners and patients who were closely associated with this problem. Using tools like User Personas and Empathy Mapping, we were able to make generalizations for our design stakeholders as well as form well rounded insights on what a typical bed-sore ridden patient really needs.
We tried to put ourselves in the shoes of the patients, the caregivers. Using our already identified insights from user interviews, we mapped what these demographic of users would probably say, think, feel and hear about their current predicament as patients or care providers.
